The Route Editor in Proficy Plant Applications allows supervisors and engineers to define complete manufacturing routes, including sequenced operations, BOM formulations per step, equipment assignments, and linked reference documents such as SOPs and circuit diagrams. Routes support optional, parallel, and mutually exclusive operations for complex discrete environments. Controlled revision states (draft, released, archived) ensure that only validated processes reach the production floor.
